IVF: In Vitro Fertilization

In Vitro Fertilization is a complex technique in which Clínica EUGIN has a history of very good results. The technique consists of fertilizing a determined number of oocytes with sperm previously selected from a sample.

It receives the name “in vitro” because the gametes are put into contact with each other outside of the woman’s body, in the laboratory, in a sterile recipient called a culture plaque.

The fertilized oocytes will turn into the pre-embryos which will be transferred to the uterus, where they will continue their development.

Depending on each diagnosis, we offer four different types of treatment:

• IVF In vitro fertilization using eggs and sperm from the couple
• IVF In Vitro fertilization using eggs from a donor and sperm from the male partner
• IVF In Vitro fertilization using eggs from the female partner and sperm from a donor
• IVF In vitro fertilization using eggs from a donor and sperm from the sperm bank
