Female fertility naturally decreases with age.
From 35 years of age, one out of every six women who decide to have children encounters some form of problem when trying. Statistics confirm that once a woman has reached 42 years of age it becomes very difficult for her to get pregnant using her own eggs.
When this moment comes, the EUGIN Clinic is able to offer all the treatments presently available in order to help.
If you are a woman between 30 and 42 years of age and have reasons to suspect that you may have difficulties conceiving when you choose to become pregnant, this is the time to preserve your eggs.
The vitrification process is fast and does not normally cause much physical discomfort or side effects. Because we do not have a waiting list, the treatment at the EUGIN Clinic can commence immediately and within 10 to 15 days ten of your oocytes will be vitrified and kept safe until the moment you need them.
When that day comes we will start the process of making sure you get pregnant: we thaw a number of your eggs so that they can been inseminated with your partner’s sperm if this is the case or that of an anonymous donor if that is what you decide. We incubate them and implant a maximum number of two embryos. From that moment on, your pregnancy will be the same as that of any other woman.
