About Dr. Marisa Lacárcel

Dr. Marisa Lacárcel earned her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid (1997–2003). She specialized with a Master’s in Assisted Reproduction from the Complutense University of Madrid (2009–2010), graduating with honors. She completed her MIR residency in 2004 at Hospital La Paz in Madrid and has since gained experience as a gynecologist and obstetrician in various hospitals and clinics across Madrid. In the field of assisted reproduction, she has treated both national and international patients, managed the gamete bank department, performed all assisted reproductive treatments including surgical procedures, and has gained specialized expertise in reproductive immunology and male factor infertility. She also holds a Master’s in General Aesthetic Medicine from UNIR and another in Gyneco-aesthetic and Genital Rejuvenation. Additionally, she completed a course in laser techniques for regenerative gynecology. These qualifications enrich her specialization in gyneco-aesthetic surgery—a field that blends gynecology with aesthetic and regenerative medicine, focusing on improving female intimate aesthetics, functionality, and well-being. Since 2025, she has led the Eugin Madrid clinic as Medical Director, thanks to her strong academic background, clinical experience, and commitment to continuous learning.
Dr. Lacárcel has also participated in numerous national conferences with oral presentations and posters on topics including pregnancy and listeria, congenital cytomegalovirus, pregnancy in liver transplant recipients, and thromboembolism during pregnancy. She has also given talks on assisted reproduction and COVID, STIs, and fertility. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cinema, and cultural travel.
