We want to help you understand this technique, which consists of placing sperm in the woman’s uterus

At present, one out of every six women who decide to have a baby experiences difficulty in doing this, and many find it hard to understand the reasons and the possible solutions. One of our missions is to help these women understand why this occurs. To do this we are continuously preparing educational material, such as the following advertising report about Artificial Insemination.

Artificial Insemination is an assisted reproductive technique that is based on placing sperm –previously selected from a sample- in the woman’s uterus when she is ovulating.

In the case of a couple formed by a man and a woman, we only recommend this technique if the man’s sperm have difficulty in reaching the egg –either due to the low count or quality of the sperm- or because there is an obstacle at the entrance to the uterus.

In the case of not having a male partner and wanting to become pregnant, this technique is also recommended. In this situation the technique would be performed with semen from a donor. You can find out more about Artificial Insemination with semen from a donor here.
